Join mushroom expert Dana Richter to explore this beautiful site in late summer and learn about wild edible, poisonous, beautiful, ugly and just plain fascinating mushrooms. Also find out about the combined conservation efforts of Eagle Harbor Township, KLT and MNA.
Meet at 1 PM at the MNA Redwyn Dunes trailhead, on M-26 about 3.5 miles north of Eagle River or 4 miles south of Eagle Harbor, along the Great Sand Bay. For more information about the preserve, go to the "Special Places" menu at the top of this webpage and select the "Protected Lands" tab on this website, then select "George Hite Dunes and Marshes Preserve".
